To reduce the likelihood that your employees will feel stressed and exposed, consider having cubicles. Cubicles don't have to be the white partition walls that you remember from TV shows and 80's offices. They can be decorated and have added bits of comfort like photos, a relaxing chair, or even speakers installed to play the employee's favorite music. 

By giving your employee a personalized space, they'll feel more at home at work, allowing them to relax and work efficiently. 

Toilet Partitions for Men and Women

If you have a unisex bathroom, it should go without saying that you should have a partitioned toilet that has a door to shut others out. 

Going to the bathroom is a private activity, and the last thing anyone wants is someone else to walk in on them. By providing a space that is closed off from that risk, your employees are able to use the restroom without the stress of being seen. 

This is particularly helpful for men's restrooms, where urinals are mounted on the walls; many men are comfortable with them, but not everyone wants to be visible to anyone else who walks into the bathroom. Having toilet partitions allows your employee to choose his comfort level and go to the bathroom in peace. 

Outdoor Spaces for a Break

This is an idea that has been implemented by a few major corporations. Either a large room or even the roof is turned into a green getaway; it has trees, hide-away spaces like tree houses or cubicles, and appears as if you're outside. 

Nature has been found to relieve stress, so adding this illusion of a private outdoor space can certainly help employees escape from feeling like they're in a traditional office setting. With add-ons like extra hide-away spaces, tree houses, huts, or other small meeting areas, employees are able to break away from the traditional work setting and to work more productively in a private and comfortable area.
